German (Deutsch) is a West Germanic language that is mainly spoken in Central Europe. It is the most widely spoken and official language in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, South Tyrol (Italy), the German-speaking Community of Belgium, and Liechtenstein. Around 100 million people in the world use German as their mother tongue. On the other hand, in the ex-colonial countries of Germany like Africa and some part of the eastern Europe there are a lot of people who speak german. German is a widely learned languages in the world and it also is the fourth most widely taught non-English language in the US. German is usually divided into highland German and lowland German. Highland german is the common language, though it adopts some rules of pronunciation from the lowland German. The common written language we use for German is the Highland German. It is also interesting to note that there are a lot of differences between different spectrums of dialects. German is widely studied as a foreign language and is one of the main cultural languages of the Western world. All in all, High German, the language of the southern highlands of Germany, is the official written language in most of the German-speaking countries.

German Introductory Course:
The introductory German course offers trainings to students who are deeply interested in the language. It involves two stages, the first is to learn the fundamental German pronunciation and the daily conversation skills. The second phrase is designed for students to train their grammar, listening, speaking, writing and reading skills. The course also provides insights of German culture to make it more efeective for students to understand and learn the language.

Teaching Methods and Characteristics
We focus on the four main exam aspects: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. The courses are well-planned with detailed and effective explanation concerning the basic use of German. The courses are lectured by our experienced tutor in Chinese, German and English explanation. Classes are in small groups and the courses contain solid training material to improve students’ German language skill. The aims are to provide a solid foundation in grammars, pronunciation, sentence structure and the use of phrases in order to enhance students’ overall German abilities.
