Spanish Course Information
Introductory Spanish : 13 lessons 1.5 hours
Enrolment of this course does not require any prior knowledge of Spanish. The classes belong to the first phrase of our Spanish courses in the introductory level. The aim of this course is to help students to acquire the fundamental knowledge in Spanish language. We focus especially on listening and speaking techniques, In addition to the Spanish language, cultural and traditional influence will also be discussed to allow students to build up a deeper understanding of the language.
Teaching Methods and Characteristics
We focus on the four exam aspects: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. The courses are well-planned with detailed and effective explanation concerning the basic use of Spanish. The courses are lectured by our experienced tutor with Chinese, Spanish and English explanation. Classes are in small groups and the courses contain solid training material to improve students’ Spanish language skill. The aims are to provide students with a solid foundation in grammars, pronunciation, sentence structure and the use of phrases in order to enhance their overall Spanish abilities.
Spanish, also named as the Castilian language, is the second most spoken language in the world composing as one of the six working language of the Latin languages. Being one of the Romance languages, Spanish is not only spoken in Spain but also many other areas of the world. For instance, in the 7 continents, there are more than 350 millions people using it, especially in the Latin American countries. Spanish is not only the official and mother tongue of Spain, but also an official language in most part of Latin America and the other 19 countries. Many other countries in South America and Mexico are spanish-speaking. In these countries people have their own Spanish TV channel, magazines and newspapers etc. In Taxes every 1 person out of the 3 in the population is of latin origin. In Asia, in some part of the Philippines and also many areas in Africa also use Spanish as their language. In the world nearly 400 millions people speak Spanish, only second to Chinese. Spanish is one of the six official languages of the United Nations. It is also used as an official language by the European Union, the Organization of American States, the Union of South American Nations, the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, and by many other international organizations.
